OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD 2024
occ-web-banner.JPG

Hello, MOCOP members and friends! It's that time again to start building shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child (OCC), a project of Samaritan's Purse.

This marks our 5th year of building shoeboxes, and each year we set our goal a little higher. This year our goal is to build 80 shoeboxes, and we hope that you will join us in making this goal a reality. Though the shoeboxes are packed filled with items that children will enjoy, it is not just about giving material gifts. We pack these shoeboxes with the hope that the children who receive them will accept the Ultimate Gift, Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Savior. After hearing the Gospel message, it is our hope that the children will carry that same message back to their families and communities, and as a result, entire families and communities will be saved.

So as you see, these shoeboxes are used as an introduction to the Gospel message. By building shoeboxes, we are taking the Gospel to the ends of the world and making a global impact for the Kingdom of God. If you would like to help a child feel the love of Jesus through a shoebox, please consider building a shoebox online or building a traditional shoebox. For more information on how you can get involved see below.

We are  Sharing the Gospel one shoebox at a time!

Full Circle Speaker - Maritza Andrade

Discover how God used an Operation Christmas Child Shoebox in Maritza's life...

She only saw her mother monthly, and her father wasn't around at all as Maritza grew up in El Salvador. She lived with her          grandparents and often missed school because she was sick with bronchitis. While other children would have a party with

a pinata for their birthdays, she never did. "My family thought it was more important to have food on the table," Maritza

said. But she could hardly contain her joy the day she received a gift-filled shoebox! "I remember the fresh, clean, sweet

smell of the box. There wasn't just one or two items - the shoebox was full of stuff!" Come here how a simple gift given in

Jesus' Name made an eternal difference in her life!
