• March Challenge

 

For the remainder of March, you’re asked to keep negative things to yourself.Don’t respond to every thought that comes to your mind. Capture the thoughts.The memory verse for this challenge is 2 Corinthians 10:5.If this exercise blesses you, then sow a seed at the end of the month.

 

• MOCOP Adult Sunday School

 

The MOCOP Adult Sunday School class meets each Sunday at 8:30 am via Zoom.  Please check your email each week for the Zoom invite.  The theme for this quarter is “Prophets Faithful to God’s Covenant.”   

 

• Teacher Recruitment

 

The MOCOP Adult Sunday School is looking for a teacher to be added to its teaching staff.If you have the gift of teaching and believe that God is calling you to this position, please contact Elder Griggs at 972-633-5511 or via email at qgriggs@mocop.org.

 

• MOCOP Marriage Ministry

 

The Marriage Ministry meets each Sunday from 8:30 am to 9:45 am via Google Meet.  You can join online or by phone.

Women Connect, did you know that Plano has a transitional shelter?  It’s called Agape!  Women Connect has an awesome opportunity to serve the women currently living in Agape.

Will you volunteer your time?  Come SHINE!

You can provide some encouragement.

 

We will be creating VISION BOARDS.

So, come serve as a cheerleader for someone special.

 

If you are not able to participate, perhaps you can donate glue, magazines, or door prizes.

• Community Outreach – Restocking the Cabinets

 

The community outreach team has partnered with Agape Organization to help restock the cabinets for those in the transitional shelter in Plano.  It is called GG’s Closet.  GG’s Closet helps individuals that may need essential items but do not have the funds to purchase them.  It's a place to go and get these items for free.  As family, we would like to contribute toward GG’s Closet.  We will be collecting items until April 25th.  

List of Items Needed:
Toothbrushes - Adults and Children
Antibacterial Hand Soap
Kleenex
Liquid Dishwashing Soap
Liquid Laundry Detergent or Laundry Pods
Gift Cards

• Pastoral Appreciation Update

 

Though we may still celebrate our Pastors in May, members will not be asked to give monetary gifts for the occasion.Instead, Pastor is asking that the members join him and Pastor Gloria in praying that we have 100% tithers.
